GOAL 3: Students will extend their knowledge and skills beyond the classroom.

Students are required to complete projects in three areas: internships, service learning and primary research. Students will be responsible, with teacher guidance, to construct the project; establish contacts; meet deadlines and obligations of the school, teacher and on-site supervisor; and create and maintain a portfolio that represents their learning.

It is expected that these three requirements will be met over the course of two semesters.  These would traditionally be completed during the sixth and 7th semesters of a high school program.
